Spratly K9 Training Center (SK9C) was founded by friends Tessa Daza, James Tan & Noel Austria. SK9C trains and develop not only dogs, but also people who would like to be trainers, and help them set up their own similar school.
SK9C conducts regular training for Sport Protection two times a week. Owners bring their dogs at the center where they are trained the art of handling, and decoy work (for those that are interested to become a decoy).
For those who do not have the time to bring their dogs at the center we accept On-Board training at our facility on a very limited slot only. All On-Board training are personally handled by Head Trainer Noel Austria.
Noel got involved in training dogs in 1993. Since then, he has continously trained dogs almost every single day of his life. He has trained various dogs of different breed, sizes and character.
While it is true that not all dogs can reach the top, we believe that we can help bring out the best in them. With the training experience that we have plus the different methods we learned from experts abroad, the SK9C has produced dogs that were able to reached their full potential.

Other training services are Scent Detection, Agility, Basic & Advance Obedience, Correction of Bad Habits, Solving Aggression Problem, and other trainings that may be required by the dog owner.
Tessa is one of the founders of Spratly K9 Center. She is also the first female Protection Trial Judge in the country, and co-founded the Philippine Utility Dog Association.
A self-proclaimed dog enthusiast since childhood, Tessa breed working dogs in Manila. Her favorite breed is the Belgian Mechelaar.
Noel is an Accounting Major and has previously worked in Banks, and managed his own business. His passion for dogs led him to pursue a career in dog training.
Another self-professed dog lover since birth,... said, there's nothing like working with man's best friend!
Noel is a PUDA Certified Protection Trial Judge, and founder of the Philippine Utility Dog Association. He is also the Author of the PUDA rules and regulation book and the Head Trainer of Spratly K9 Training Center.
Noel with multi-titled Mechelaar, "Duc" in Aguanga, California. "Duc" is owned by friends Debbie & Ron Skinner.
James is a businessman by profession and another true-blooded working dog fanatic!
From a huge 300 lbs. heavyweight, his daily decoy training reduced him to a fit 160lbs speedster!
He is a co-founder of the Spratly K9 Center; co-founder of PUDA, a certified PUDA Trial Judge, and a certified PUDA Decoy.
