STAN MOSTREY (Belgium Army Dog Trainer
His insights about the PUDA dog training activities....

"I noticed that you also pay attention to other dog training activities like obedience and flyball".

"I think it is important that if you want to promote dog training in the Philippines is to start with easy programs like the FlyBall and Obedience. It is important that people who would like to start in bite training to have experience with obedience first".

"With your Obedience and Flyball activites, you will be able to reach more people to involved in dog training specially those who do not have time to train in the difficult protection programs

STAN MOSTREY'S  insights about the PUDA Trial...

"I am Stan Mostrey and I am a K9 trainer and decoy for the Belgian Army. I am very happy that you know and appreciate the qualities of our national dog, the Mechelaar.

I hope we can share some information in the future and I want to congratulate your organization for promoting dog training in the Philippines..."

"We train dogs to go as fast as possible without slowing down in impact on the decoy and to take the shortest way. The most important is the dog must attack under all conditions, without hesitation".

"I have visited the site of PUDA and printed out the different trial exercises. I would certainly like this program (real protection program). I am also happy to read that at any moment during the execution of the exercise, the handler may opt to withdraw his dog from the test to avoid further damage on the dog's confidence. Very good line in the regulation!"

"I also like the part in the search for the decoy, wherein he can try to escape after a certain time. Very realistic!"

Stan Mostrey visited SK9C last March, 2004.
